St Andrews Church (originally known as St Paul's) in Walcha is the oldest building standing in the town and the oldest Church in the Armidale Anglican Diocese. It was built in 1862 and consecrated in 1866.
The church is a simple granite building of coursed random rubble in a Rustic Gothic style with a corrugated iron roof (originally slate). There are nine pointed arched window frames within rectangular openings (now boarded up) and a timber shingled bellcote.
