A humuourous play on a common road sign brings a smile to whoever exits the Groene Afslag grounds

NL Vaak worden er bij wegwerkzaamheden borden langs de snelweg gezet om de weggebruikers te bedanken voor het matigen van de snelheid en als verzachting van de overlast. Het betreft hier de borden ‘dank voor uw begrip’ in zwarte letters of een geel, vierkant bord. Nu zag ik bij de uitgang van het vegetarische restaurant en groene eco-hub De Groene Afslag dit bord staan; ‘begrip voor uw dank’, in dezelfde stijl als het bord bij de wegwerkzaamheden! Heel grappig en het toont de mentaliteit heel goed aan van de uitbaters.

Bij een zoektocht online zag ik dat deze borden in 2015 bij Almere hebben gestaan. Het was een project van scholieren met nog meer humoristische borden zoals ‘oppassen voor ufo’s’. Is het hetzelfde bord als die uit Almere of is het nieuw gemaakt door de Groene Afslag? documentatie borden Almere
ENG Signs are often placed along the highway during road works to thank road users for moderating speed and mitigating the nuisance. This concerns the 'thank you for your understanding' signs in black letters or a yellow, square sign. Now I saw this sign at the exit of the vegetarian restaurant and green eco-hub De Groene Afslag; 'understanding your thanks', in the same style as the sign at the road works! Very funny and it shows the mentality of the owners very well.

During a search online I saw that these signs were in Almere in 2015. It was a school project with even more humorous signs such as 'beware of UFOs'. Is it the same sign as the one from Almere or was it made new by the Groene Afslag? documentation signs Almere
