This Commemoration plaque is located at the entrance of the Aylmer Fair Grounds in Aylmer, Ontario on East Street, directly on the front of the ticket booth.
The plaque commemorates 100 years from 1853 to 1953 of service by the Aylmer & East Elgin Agricultural Society. The plaque was presented ON August 19th, 1956 by the Ontario Department of Agriculture, honouring the pioneers of the community.
