This sandstone obelisk originally built for some x200 locals who fought in WW1 also commemorates participation in the Korean War.

The Korean War is clearly represented a rectangular bronze plaque on the base of the hexagonal base of the obelisk. There is also a name in lead lettering of a local who fought and died in the Korean War: G. Paterson.
