Sitting Art
In 2007 werd in Woerden op het Defensie-eiland het beeldhouwerssymposium 'Sitting Art' gehouden, georganiseerd door de Rotary Woerden. Deelnemers waren tien kunstenaars uit landen die in 2004 tot de Europese Unie waren toegetreden. Hun opdracht was iets te maken uit duurzaam materiaal bedoeld voor de openbare ruimte waar men op moest kunnen zitten.

Sitting Art
In 2007, the sculptor symposium 'Sitting Art' was held in Woerden on the Defence Island, organised by the Rotary Woerden. Participants were ten artists from countries that joined the European Union in 2004. Their assignment was to make something out of durable material for the public space that people should be able to sit on.
