St Mary & St Joseph Catholic Cathedral was built in 1912 in the Federation Gothic Revival style, constructed of Armidale Blue brickwork with a lighter decorative brick trim, the cathedral has a slate roof with tall 47m needle spire above a castellated bell tower.
