The former Monroe Bank & Trust branch that was located at 8799 Swan Creek Rd, Newport, MI 48166 was converted to a Bake Shop in 2019. They serve coffee, muffins and breakfast pastries and stay open through lunch for sandwiches and other light fare. They have converted the bank drive-up teller windows to the drive-through for customers at the store which they called Mitten Cafe & Bakeshop. More info here
