The local stone, Granite, cross is approximately 4 meters high which sits on a Granite square base, which is approximately one meter high.
The base, four sides are covered with the list of the fallen, predominantly from the first world war, but has sections for the second world war and other conflicts for the local heroes who died serving our Country.
The memorial is within the churchyard adjacent to the south transept of the church.
Within the churchyard is the commonwealth war graves of fallen war heroes who died whilst serving at the nearest wartime RAF base (RAF Portreath)
