Little Free Library Charter #91150 was an Eagle Scout project completed by Venture Crew 777 scout Nicolas Shirley in July, 2019. The library's design copies the 1902 style of Holy Trinity by the Lake Episcopal Church where it is located.
A little searching turns up Nicholas Shirley listed under the 2010's on the Eagles Nest for Troop 83 in nearby Rockwall, with September 17, 2019 given as the award date.
This beautiful Little Free Library stands upon a finished wooden post -- note the metal support brackets below -- whose stain is fading, and the single level library is also made of wood. The interior is white with a red frame around the glass on the door, secured by a black knob. As the description says, the library's design complements that of the church, with wood shingles throughout, as well as real roof shingles on the gabled roof. There is a white cross on the front, just above the door, and a silver bell is painted on the tower (which also has the appropriate shingles). There are no posted hours, and it is also a Bookcrossing Zone.
