The Celtic camp de Bierre is very large and covers an area of 14 hectares. The area consists mostly of stone walls, in fact a length of about 600 m, 30 meters wide by up to 8 meters high. Millions of stones have been stacked.
From archaeological research, one can see that the huge stone ramparts were originally built of tree trunks laid as lattices with stones in between. In a fire, perhaps in connection with an attack, the tree trunks are burned but all the stones remain.
In the area has been found tools, ceramics and looms
