The clock face is set within a wooden box and enclosed with glass or clear plastic. There appears to be an inspection hatch on the roadside elevation of the clock housing, for servicing. The roof of the housing has been covered with lead.

The numbers around the face are single-digit markers for each hour. The hands are solid, and there is no second hand. The face is white with black hands.

The small village of St Agnes has, small narrow streets, and the clock tower has been built on a small forecourt of a council office.
There are only two clock faces, looking up and down the street, at the time of the visit the lower face has become obscured by a tree and the upper face by traffic and a flag.
