A red brick and sandstone column, originally built to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Jubilee 1897, updated 2012 to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II.
"Tall brick square column, somewhat in C18 style, to commemorate 1897 jubilee of Queen Victoria. Stone steps, base, and cap with cornice, surmounted by orb and cross. 4 raised brick panels or each side, and on north and south sides stone panels with inscriptions. Cornice has egg and dart bedmould, above frieze with triglyph fluting."
