Long Description:
The white marble slab of the headstone is quite badly stained at the top of what is shaped like a parchment or scroll. The double-width grave is surrounded by a low concrete sill, and the immediately neighbouring graves are also ensconced within a pipe fence with two rails. And there is a modestly mature tree growing the other side of the obelisk. The inscription of this headstone reads as:

In Loving Memory Of
Who was Accidentally Drowned
January 9 1911
aged 19 years
Beloved brother of the above
Died Nov 18 1904
aged 18 months
The Oxley Island Cemetery is on a gentle grass slope facing west.
