This is a beautiful Little Free Library, made of wood and standing atop a tree stump. The box itself is painted light blue, with yellow for the doors and on the roof trim. Note the nod to Gothic Revival architecture, with the highly pitched gabled roof and orange lancet windows above the door. There are two tan Christian crosses on the door, and joining the lancet windows is an orange cross in an octagon. An orange cross is also atop the roof gable up front, and there are real roof shingles. It is in very good condition -- its doors still close securely -- and it sees considerable traffic.
An article behind a paywall at the Killeen Daily Herald has a photo of the box's creator, Julie McPhail, standing in front of her handiwork, which was unveiled on March 6, 2022.
