Initiated in 2016, Waterbrook is still a work in progress. When it is complete, the 105 acre community will have 287 residential lots and nearly 200,000 square feet of commercial and retail space, with the proverbial neighborhood grocery store at the northwest corner (at US 377 and FM 407).

The water wheel features prominently in Waterbrook's literature, standing at a community-only pavilion on the manmade "water feature" that runs from the fishing pond toward the back of the subdivision. It has no apparent function other than as eye candy. Made of wood and mounted on two stone pylons, it's 20-30' in diameter, and how fast it moves depends on water levels and how fast they have the pumps moving. There are no informational signs, but there are enough "hidden danger" signs to suggest that visitors should stay at a safe distance and not play around to get life-ending selfies.
Visit Instructions:
Please give the date of your visit and a brief description of your experience and any additional information you may have about the waterwheel, its current condition, etc. We would very much like at least one original photo from your visit, but it is not absolutely necessary.
