"The fountain in the Jardines de la Lonja is octagonal and, like the other elements in the square, is made of stone and marble; proceeding all the set of an antiquarian to whom it was acquired.
The central motif of the fountain is two intertwined dolphins that act as jets.
It could have served as a reason for the design of the footings of the pasopalio made by the Orfebrería Triana for the Brotherhood of La Esperanza de Triana.
In the mid-1980s it was restored by Jaime Gil Arévalo.
A victim of vandalism, four marine animals that made up a second row of jets have disappeared from the pool, of which only the water outlets remain"
