De kolom is gemaakt van Belgisch hardsteen in de vorm van een boomstam als teken voor het leven wat plots is afgebroken, de kolom staat op een hardstenen blok waar men een soort rots partij heeft uitgebeiteld als teken voor de rots vastheid voor de familie die hij waarschijnlijk was voor hun, het geheel is gezet op een hardstenen plaat en omgeven door stenen palen met er omheen een koperen reling.

The column is made of Belgian bluestone in the shape of a tree trunk as a sign for the life that suddenly ended, the column stands on a bluestone block where a kind of rock was chiselled out as a sign for the rock solidity for the family that he probably was for them, the whole thing is set on a bluestone slab and surrounded by stone posts with a copper railing around it.
