This Weir-style dam is located at Welland Canal Lock 3 in St. Catharines, Ontario. The weir is one of two "Waste" weirs which manages the water level in the water holding ponds above Lock 3. If there is too much water in the ponds the water goes through these weirs and down the canal.

The weir can be tough to see, a recommended spot is N 43 09.517 W 79 11.683
