DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1978 (CRL) THE STATION IS THE CAP ATOP THE SEYMOUR MUNICIPAL WATER TANK. IT IS ABOUT 140 FEET HIGH WITH 4 LEGS AND IS PAINTED SILVER IN COLOR. LOCATED ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE SEYMOUR POST OFFICE. TO REACH FROM THE POST OFFICE IN SEYMOUR, GO 100 YARDS SOUTHEAST TO THE WATER TANK.
