Als je door het dorp Hellendoorn fietst zie op verschillende plaatsen nog oude melkbusrekken buiten staat vaak liggen er ook nog oude melkbussen op het rek.
Dit specifieke melkbussenrek staat achter de oude boerderij waar het museum Erve Hofman in is gevestigd.

Museumboerderij Erve Hofman is een in Saksische stijl ingerichte boerderij uit de 15e eeuw. De boerderij kenmerkt zich door een compacte, rechthoekige plattegrond en een laag aflopend dak. Het woongedeelte is nog origineel met historische gebruiksvoorwerpen en werktuigen. Op het erf staat onder meer een bakoven, een schaapskooi, een paardenkarnmolen, een waterput, een iemenschoer en een wagenloods."
