Der Dillberg, ein Schauinsland

Der Blick nordwärts durch den Bilderrahmen hier auf dem 595m hohen Dillberg, einem Zeugen- oder Inselberg, fällt auf das etwa 150-200 Meter tiefer gelegene Tal der vorderen Schwarzach. Es wird über Rednitz und Regnitz zum Rhein-Main-System (>Nordsee) entwässert.

Erkennbar sind von nah nach fern gesehen die Orte Hausheim, Ber, Unterwall und Oberwall.

Dahinter erhebt sich der durch Bachläufe "angesägte" Trauf der Jurahochfläche, von welcher die Zeugenberge wie der Dillberg durch Erosion abgetrennt sind.

The Dillberg, a Schauinsland

The view northward through the picture frame here on the 595m high Dillberg, a witness or inselberg, falls on the valley of the front Schwarzach, which is about 150-200 meters lower. It is drained via Rednitz and Regnitz to the Rhine-Main system (>North Sea).

Recognizable from near to far are the villages Hausheim, Ber, Unterwall and Oberwall.

Behind it rises the "sawn" ridge of the Jura plateau, from which the witness mountains like the Dillberg are separated by erosion.
