A public park outdoor basketball court is between the town library and a baseball diamond at Pottsy Field on Route 114/West Main Road in Middletown, Rhode Island. A flat, expansive grass field surrounds the court, an 8-foot tall chain link fence runs along a parking lot on the west border and a 3-foot high chain link fence separates the court from the baseball zone to the south.

The hoop's black asphalt surface has white boundary, free throw lane, and center circle lines. Both fan-shaped backboards are white with standard orange rims and white cotton nets. The playing area is oriented mainly north-south, has semi-repaired cracks, and tufts of grass sprout along fissures up and down the court. A set of five-row bleachers is at the southeast corner and a wood picnic bench at the north-east corner. The court area is unlit, but dedicated light poles face the adjacent baseball facility.
