This cabin is located in a park just off of Echo Street West in Cayuga, Ontario. The cabin was built in 1835 and is likely one of the oldest buildings in Haldimand County. The built by Thomas Nicholas near Cayuga on at the time Old Plank Road (now Highway 6). The cabin was given to the Haldimand Historical Society in 1960 by M. Garth Wintemute.
There used to by a museum nearby owned by the historical society that was recently torn down.
