Legend has it that if you walk or drive the two-block stretch of Shelbourne Street between Myrtle Avenue and Ryan Street between 2 and 3 am on an October night, you'll be transported back in time. The sidewalk and road will transform to dirt beneath you, and the houses lining the street will revert to century-old architecture. Once you reach the end of those two blocks, everything will return to the normal, modern state.
