In de centrale hal van het St. Antonius ziekenhuis in Woerden staat een bijzonder kunstwerk. De kunstenaar Jan Braber heeft van delen van een Fokker F-24 vliegtuig een band gemaakt met een bassist en saxofonist (ik las op internet dat er ook een rockgitarist was maar die zag ik toen niet). Ze vormen de Fokkerband. Het kunstwerk staat al sinds 2017 in het ziekenhuis. Op het bordje erbij staat heel duidelijk vermeld welk onderdeel welke functie had in de Fokker. De schoenen van de bassist zijn trouwens van Jan Braber zelf!

In the central hall of the St. Antonius hospital in Woerden is a special work of art. The artist Jan Braber has made a band with a bassist and saxophonist from parts of a Fokker F-24 aircraft (I read on the internet that there was also a rock guitarist, but I didn't see him at the time).
