The Lederhaus (Leather House), which is on the main square or Ravensburger Marienplatz, has been recently renovated.

The Ravensburger Lederhaus was probably built around the year 1400 and was the guild and department store for leather craftsmen, such as shoemakers, saddlers, furriers and tanners.

The building more recently served as a post office and is now the tourist office for Ravensburg.
