Bouchoir is a village in the Department of the Somme on the straight main road from Amiens to Roye. The Bouchoir new British cemetery is on the north-east side of the road nearly 2 kilometres south-east of the village.

Word was received last week of the death in action of Gunner Eric Munro Anderson, 53 Battery, C.F.A., eldest son of Mr. and Mrs F.C. Anderson of 304 First Avenue Ottawa and grandson of the late Major C.J. and Mrs Anderson and Mrs A.T. Kerr, Toronto. Gunner Anderson was well known in Orillia, having been teller in the local branch of the Dominion Bank for sometime.
