This statue of Saint Therese of Lisieux is located at Mount Calvary Cemetery on Highpoint Drive near Coal Center, Pennsylvania. The statue is near the main entrance to the cemetery, in a row of 19 statues of saints and Old Testament prophets. It is at the grave site of the Characky family. The statue depicts Saint Therese holding a crucifix and roses, with a rosary hanging at her side.

Saint Therese of Lisieux, also known as Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus and the Little Flower, was a 19th century French Carmelite nun. Her "Little Way" of pursuing holiness in ordinary life, as told in her autobiography, Story of a Soul, has been very influential in the Catholic world. She was canonized by Pope Pius XI in 1925 and declared a Doctor of the Church by Pope Saint John Paul II in 1997.
