Es: "Las obras de la iglesia abarcaron desde esa época hasta finales del XVIII. Su planta de dos naves, una principal y otra lateral, es un ejemplo poco usual. También posee dos portadas. La principal, del siglo XVIII, junto a un atrio con acceso desde la plaza de España, y una lateral, del siglo XVII, hacia calle Corredera.
A la primera etapa corresponden el presbiterio, la sacristía y la portada del muro derecho. El cuerpo de la nave, reedificado a finales del XVIII, se cubre con una bóveda de cañón. La sacristía, situada detrás del altar mayor, es de planta rectangular. La divide en dos espacios paralelos un gran arco de medio punto decorado en yesería. Los dos espacios se cubren por medio de vigas de madera con azulejos de principios del XVII, cronología que hay que fijar para toda la sacristía.
A finales del siglo XVIII se abrieron en el muro izquierdo de la nave cuatro capillas, comunicadas entre sí, que configuran una segunda nave. De esa misma etapa es el coro, situado en alto, a los pies de la nave. La portada del muro derecho, labrada en piedra, es de principios del siglo XVII y posee en su tímpano un relieve de la Virgen con el Niño.
Del conjunto escultórico de este templo destaca un Crucificado del siglo XVI atribuido a Juan Bautista Vázquez el Viejo. El retablo mayor, atribuido al taller de los Navarro (siglo XVIII), se sitúa bajo una interesante cúpula de madera policromada del siglo XVI, y el retablo de San José, de estilo rococó (finales del siglo XVIII)."
En: "The construction works continued from that century until the late 18th century. The church consists of one central nave and one on the side; a rather unconventional layout. It also has two portals, the main one from the 18th century, next to the atrium, facing the Plaza de España, and the other on the side, from the 17th century, leading to Corredera Street.
The presbytery, sacristy and portal on the right wall belong to the original building. The body of the nave, rebuilt in the late 18th century, is covered by a barrel vault. The sacristy, located behind the main altar, has a rectangular plan. It is divided into two parallel spaces by a large semi-circular arch decorated with plasterwork. The two areas are covered by wooden beams with tiles from the early 17th century. This timeline applies to the entire sacristy.
Four interconnected chapels were opened on the left wall of the nave in the late 18th century, forming a second nave. The choir, located at the west end, is from the same period. The stone portal on the right wall dates from the early 17th century. A relief of the Virgin and Child can be found in the tympanum.
The sculptures worthy of note inside the temple include a 16th-century Crucified Christ attributed to Juan Bautista Vázquez the Elder, the main altarpiece, attributed to the workshop of Navarro (18th century), under a remarkable polychrome wooden dome from the 16th century, and the Rococo style altarpiece of Saint Joseph (late 18th century) stand out."
