A garden on the north side of the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park honors the life of Glen Tate, a nightwatchman who was murdered by two men committing a robbery at the visitor center.

An arch and garden area honor Glen Tate, who was a nightwatchman at the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park. He was murdered in 1997, and the two men were convicted of this crime they committed while stealing cash and jewelry.

The garden is north of the bridge, on the hill towards the visitor center. It overlooks the tracks for the Incline Railway.

A plaque at the entrance to the garden has the following text:
