Eiland 4 is één van de twaalf, openbaar toegankelijke recreatie eilanden op de Vinkeveense Plassen.
Het zandeiland is toegankelijk via het water, maar ook vanaf de wal. Het eiland biedt naast een goede toegankelijkheid en een gratis parkeerterrein voor tweehonderd auto's ook zwemstranden, een watersportvereniging, een afgeschermde duikzone en een brug naar eiland 5.
Op dit voor iedereen toegankelijke recreatie eiland kun je dus zwemmen, duiken, relaxen en zonnen.
PARKEREN
Auto - Met de auto is het parkeerterrein op het eiland te bereiken via de Baambrugse Zuwe, waar zich veel horeca -en recreatiebedrijven bevinden. Dit parkeerterrein is gratis toegankelijk voor tweehonderd auto's. De Baambrugse Zuwe en de parkeerplekken bij de watersportvereniging zijn niet bedoeld voor recreanten van eiland 4 en 5.
BEHEER
De 12 zandeilanden zijn officieel in beheer is van Recreatie Midden Nederland.

Island 4 is one of the twelve publicly accessible recreational islands in the Vinkeveense Plassen.
The sandy island is accessible via the water, but also from the shore. In addition to good accessibility and a free parking area for 200 cars, the island also offers swimming beaches, a water sports club, a protected diving zone and a bridge to island 5.
On this recreational island accessible to everyone, you can swim, dive, relax and sunbathe.
PARKING
Car - The car park on the island can be reached via the Baambrugse Zuwe, where there are many catering establishments and recreational businesses. This car park is free for two hundred cars. The Baambrugse Zuwe and the parking areas at the water sports association are not intended for island 4 and 5 visitors.
MANAGEMENT
The 12 sand islands are officially managed by Recreatie Midden Nederland.
