Een duurzame grachtenattractie van 1,5 uur
Utrecht zien vanaf het water wordt door vele ook wel beschouwd als het beste uitkijkpunt van de stad, al willen wij natuurlijk niks af doen aan het uitzicht vanaf de Domtoren. De grachten in het centrum van de Domstad zijn ideaal voor het gebruik van een waterfiets. Binnen 1,5 uur doe je één van de drie vaarroutes dwars door het centrum, waarbij je de vele hoogtepunten van de stad kan bewonderen.
Ontdek de prachtige smalle Nieuwegracht, de Kromme Nieuwegracht of kies voor de route waar je onder het vernieuwde Hoog Catharijne door peddelt. Neem de tijd voor een intrigerende blik van de Utrechtse binnenstad terwijl je op een duurzame manier calorieën verbrandt.
Stromma Utrecht met haar Pedal Boat-steiger is te vinden aan de Oudegracht 165, wat tevens de op- en afstapplek is. De steiger ligt ter hoogte van de oude bibliotheek tegenover de Winkel van Sinkel.
De steiger ligt midden in het centrum van Utrecht, dus aan horecagelegenheden geen gebrek. Keuze te over voor een kop koffie, een lekkere lunch of een welverdiend drankje (zeker na het waterfietsen).
De prachtige vaarroute dwars door de stad leidt je onder andere over de bekendste gracht van allemaal: de Oudegracht. Aangelegd in de middeleeuwen met aan beide kanten haar werven is hij wereldwijd uniek in haar soort. De gracht werd aangelegd in het begin van de 12 eeuw maar de middeleeuwen proef je vandaag de dag nog steeds. Zeker vanaf het water. Voor even terug in de tijd!

A sustainable canal experience of 1.5 hours
Seeing Utrecht from the water is considered by many to be the best viewpoint of the city, although of course we do not want to detract from the view from the Dom tower. The canals in the centre of the Dom city are ideal for using a pedalo. Within 1.5 hours, you will do one of the three canal routes right through the city centre, allowing you to admire the many highlights of the city.
Discover the beautiful narrow Nieuwegracht, the Kromme Nieuwegracht or choose the route where you paddle under the renovated Hoog Catharijne. Take your time for an intriguing view of Utrecht's city centre while burning calories in a sustainable way.
Stromma Utrecht and its Pedal Boat jetty can be found at Oudegracht 165, which is also the pick-up and drop-off point. The jetty is located near the old library opposite the Winkel van Sinkel.
The dock is located in the centre of Utrecht, so there is no lack of restaurants. There is plenty of choice for a cup of coffee, a delicious lunch or a well-deserved drink (especially after the pedal boat ride).
The beautiful route right through the city leads you, among other things, along the most famous canal of all: the Oudegracht. Constructed in the Middle Ages with wharves on both sides, it is unique in the world. The canal was laid out at the beginning of the 12th century, but you can still taste the Middle Ages today. Especially from the water. Go back in time for a while!
