These Then and Now photos are of the Old Pennsylvania Railroad Station, located near the intersection of South Fourth and Market Streets in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This station, the fourth at this site, was originally opened in 1887 and was expanded in 1902 and 1910. It was built by the Pennsylvania Railroad. According to a nearby historical sign, by 1922 more than 100 trains visited the station each day. The station is still open and now known as the Harrisburg Transportation Center.

The "Then" photo shows the station in around the year 1910 and is taken from an interpretive sign near the station. The "Now" photo shows the station as it is today.
Year photo was taken: c. 1910
