Built in 1902, this oven was used to manufacture porcelain. It is the only round reverse flame oven still standing in France.
Although built in 1902, it fired its first pieces in 1904 and died in 1957. Of industrial architecture, it has a capacity of 80 cubic meters, which can contain 10,000 to 15,000 pieces per firing. The main issue of its use lies in the control of the fire and this can be seen in the cooking process which requires almost a week per batch!
