Es: "En la Plaza de Caldereros encontramos la Casa de los Ribera que destaca por la gran fachada de sillería granítica teniendo como única decoración un escudo con las armas de los Ribera, destacada familia de la nobleza cacereña del linaje de los Duques de Alcalá. Esta austeridad en la fachada es muy típica en los palacios cacereños que en sus orígenes son casas fuertes que sirven de defensa contra posibles ataques del exterior."
En: "In the Plaza de Caldereros we find the Ribera's house, which stands out for its great facade of granite ashlar masonry, its only decoration being a shield with the arms of the Ribera family, a prominent family of the Caceres nobility of the lineage of the Dukes of Alcalá. This austerity in the facade is very typical in the palaces of Cáceres, which were originally strong houses that serve as a defense against possible attacks from outside."
