No deterioration to this building. Constructed of fired brick with its canopy still in place, it sits at the intersection of First St. South and 150th Street. It once served the farming community of Rockwell which has a current population of 1071. The trim on the building is being repainted by the owner of the property next door who may own the building. There are no longer any indications of the brand of gasoline sold and the pumps are no longer out front. My grandfather may have purchased gas here.
