Rexall Drug stores were in decline in the 1950's. I can't find a reference for this particular store but from the condition of the sign I doubt this store has been an active pharmacy for a long time. The orange background paint is peeling and taking some of the letters with it. There appears to have been some other sign painted over it but that too is disappearing.
