This free standing town clock is located on Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls, New York. The black metal clock, which much of it is green from weathering sustained over the years, stands directly on the brick paved sidewalk. It is approximately ten feet high on a two tiered tapered base. The bottom tier has a metal door on the pedestrian side of the sidewalk. The next tier has two panels on each side with the smaller panel on the bottom and a longer panel on top. The clock is housed in a square metal frame and has a clock face on each side. There is a door at each clock face with a decorative metal work in each corner of the doors. The roofing over the clock is supported by four metal rods at each corner. There is a three-light spotlight on the pedestrian side of the frame. At the top is a metal ball supported by an ornate leaf-shaped holder. The clock faces are white, bordered with a decorative stained glass frame of gold and dark blue. Each hour on the clock is designated with an a corresponding, decorative alpha number and a black dot at each minute mark, a larger dot on the hour. There is a black circle around the center with a black linear mark leading to the frame of the clock face and in the bottom center in black, block letters is: 'O.B. McCLINTOCK CO., MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. The arrow-shaped hands are black with black linear second hands. The clock is in working condition.
