The central memorial in Veterans Park covers virtually every conflict in U.S. history, from the Revolutionary War to present day. The World War II component consists of three plaques giving some history and statistics, and a large number of smaller plaques naming those involved in this global conflict. The WWII component encompasses about half of the inside of the curved wall of the memorial, with more names than all of the others combined.
