The tall light grey granite obelisk is based on two square granite steps, in a small road-sided grassy plot. Nearby is a 25-pound Field Gun. While the monument was built for the participants at World War One, a couple of names were added for locals that went to the Boer War and then later names were added for World War Two participants. With a plaque also commemorating the Battle of Long Tan, and the Korean War. On the upper part of one side of the base of the obelisk is the following black-filled inscription below the A.I.F. metal crest:
GREAT WAR
1914 - 1918.
------
REMEMBER WITH
THANKSGIVING THE
TRUE AND FAITHFUL
MEN WHO IN THE
GREAT WAR WENT
FORTH FROM THIS PLACE
FOR GOD AND RIGHT.
------
