The center of the picture shows Providence River Bridge that crosses Providence River. The three stacks are the Dominion power plant. Left of center the tall building is Industrial Trust Co. building which is sometimes called the Superman Building because it looks somewhat like the Daily Planet. To the right of the Superman Building (white square building) is the Federal Building. To the left of the Superman Building is the Biltmore hotel and Omni Providence Hotel.
Left of center the two prominent buildings are both Rhode Island Hospital, as well as the white smoke stack. The hospital complex is quite large having a multitude of buildings.
