es: "El hospital de la Tiña fue fundado en 1662 por el Caballero Veinticuatro (antiguo título de los concejales granadinos), don José de la Calle y Heredia en agradecimiento por la cura de esta enfermedad, formando parte de las fundaciones hospitalarias que la nobleza solía patrocinar durante el Antiguo Régimen (siglos XVI-XIX).
Fue erigido sobre el palacio nazarí en el que Boabdil fue proclamado por segunda vez rey de Granada (1487). Tras la conquista de la ciudad, el palacio fue cedido a la casa de los Mendoza, cuyo linaje lo mantuvo hasta su venta a Pedro de la Calle, padre del fundador. En el patio sobresalen las columnas y la alberca pertenecientes al antiguo palacio"
en: "The Hospital de la Tiña was founded in 1662 by the Knight Twenty-four (former title of the councilors of Granada), José de la Calle y Heredia in gratitude for the cure of this disease, forming part of the hospital foundations that the nobility used to sponsor during the Old Regime (16th-19th centuries).
It was erected on top of the Nasrid palace where Boabdil was proclaimed King of Granada for the second time (1487). After the conquest of the city, the palace was ceded to the Mendoza family, whose lineage maintained it until its sale to Pedro de la Calle, father of the founder. In the patio, the columns and the pool stand out from the old Nasrid palace.
