es: "La casa, también conocida como palacio de los Carvajal, perteneció a don Francisco Carvajal y Manrique Salazar y Luna, primer conde de Torrejón y corregidor de Granada en 1586.
La fachada está decorada con pintura que imita el aparejo de ladrillo y posee una gran variedad de vanos, siendo continuadora del tipo serliano establecida en la Real Chancillería. El patio está porticado con columnas toscanas y arcos carpaneles. En él sobresale el magnífico pilar adosado y la caja de escaleras. "

The façade is decorated with paint that imitates the brick bond and has a great variety of spans, continuing the Serlian type established in the Royal Chancery. The patio is porticoed with Tuscan columns and basket-handle arches. In it, the magnificent attached pillar and the stairwell stand out."
