DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1941 (GWL)
THIS INTERSECTION STATION IS ABOUT 2.75 MILES NE OF BLANDBURG, ON THE
TOP OF A FLAT BRUSH AND TIMER-COVERED MOUNTAIN OF THE ALLEGHENY
RANGE LOCALLY KNOWN AS LOST MOUNTAIN. IT IS A FOUR-LEGGED STEEL
STRUCTURE ABOUT 90 FEET HIGH WITH A GLASS-ENCLOSED CAB ON THE
TOP. IT IS PAINTED IN ALTERNATE STRIPES OF RED AND GRAY WITH THE
NUMERALS 108 PAINTED ON ALL FOUR SIDES OF THE CAB. THE APEX OF THE
ROOF IS THE POINT OBSERVED ON.
