Young is an isolated farming and ranching community in central Arizona. The signs of its past agricultural activity can be seen throughout the area. Under a protective cover outside the Young museum are a buckboard and a carriage. The buckboard is in remarkably good condition and still has the wooden blocks used as brakes. There isn't a manufacturer's mark to be seen. The carriage is a four wheeled single seat vehicle produced by the Montgomery Ward Company. The original seat is torn but still in place. The manufacturer's tag is located on the back.
Type and Quantity: A spring-loaded buckboard and a carriage.
