Audubon Society of Rhode Island Nature Center and Aquarium is at the east side of Narragansett Bay in Bristol, Rhode Island. Visit a natural history museum, creatures that live in a tidepool, marine life from Narragansett Bay, and look inside a 33-foot life-size model of a North Atlantic Right Whale.
The 28-acre Claire D. McIntosh Wildlife Refuge offers ADA-certified walking trails among a pollinator garden and upland meadows to a half-mile (0.8 km) boardwalk through fresh and saltwater marshes to panoramic views of Narragansett Bay. Guided walks, birding classes, lectures and family programs are offered throughout the year. The facility and trails are handicapped-accessible.
