MORGAN (alt. 1384, pop. township 363), 7.2 vi., sprawls in barren rusticity around a simple white Methodist Church and a general store on the easy sloping
hillside above Lake Seymour. Originally called Caldersburgh, this sparsely settled
village was founded around 1800 in an outlying wilderness region of good fishing and hunting. The frontier aspect is still much in evidence.

Passing thru the area I came across the Morgan General Store and a stunning Shelby GT350 sitting outside. Wanting to take a closer look, I figured this is as good as any time to hydrate. The store, shockingly had a limited selection of snacks to go with my water. I opted for some kind of pastry. How do I know this is the right general store. Well it is right across from the Methodist Church that I failed to take a picture of that is mentioned in the AGS on the same page and paragraph.
