This dove, on marble stone, is very old. The dove is facing left, with obvious olive branch in its beak, and wing folded instead of opened; as if the end of a wing-flap
"The dove is the most frequently seen animal symbol in the cemetery. It is portrayed in a number of poses, but most frequently it is seen holding an olive branch, a reference to the dove sent out by Noah to search for land, and explained in Genesis 8: 10-11
