Prague is bisected by the Vltava River, which can be crossed by a number of bridges. If we go from the south from Radotín Bridge to the north to the Troja Bridge, we count 14 bridges in total. The most famous and most attractive for tourists is the Charles Bridge. Another bridge, very important for transport in Prague, is the Nusle Bridge (

The Troja Bridge is located in the northern part of Prague. It was completed in 2014, making it the youngest bridge in Prague. The bridge won the Award of Excellence in the Bridges category at The European Steel Design Awards 2015.
"The Troja Bridge crossing the Vltava river in Prague’s Troja city district. Its span makes it one of the biggest bridges in Czechia, while the rise of its arch and the structure without supporting pillars in the river are unique on a global scale. High-performance self-compacting concrete was used for its construction with strength of over 100 Megapascals (MPa), and the concrete was cooled with liquid nitrogen – a brand new innovation.
The 262 metre long Troja Bridge is part of the Prague City Ring. It is a very elegant structure without any supports in the river. At 20 metres in height, the bridge has one of the flattest arches in the world. The bridge has a four-lane road, tram tracks, and paths for pedestrians and cyclists on both sides."
