The Castlemaine Uniting Church, (former Presbyterian) was opened on 16/12/1894 and was built in the Florentine Gothic style. The asymmetrical facade has a bellcast profile conical tower roof, a high west window and divided entrance doors. The Church roof is covered with Welsh purple slating, the spire with sheet copper and has red brick walls
